## 📖 Current Read: Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka

A cornerstone of 20th-century literature, Metamorphosis has captivated readers for over a century with its surreal and distinctly 'kafkaesque' story of a travelling salesman who wakes up one morning to find he’s been transformed into a bug. The novella explores alienation, identity, what it means to be human, and the absurdity of modern life. It's also very short (around 70 pages, and just a few hours via audiobook).

## 🔍Where to Find the Book

Note: you may wish to sample the different translations before choosing one as they differ greatly in style of prose. Certain translations come across fairly blunt. I recommend the Michael Hofmann translation. (Penguin Classics)
