Salt & Silk: Women Who Remember & Embroider

Join us for a ladies-only cultural and creative experience with the Tatreez Club, where we explore the timeless art of Palestinian hand embroidery (tatreez).

Held within a Himalayan salt room, Salt & Silk is a feminine ritual honoring Palestinian heritage through the body, the senses, and the hands.

Participants are guided through a sound healing experience designed to soften, ground, and awaken memory held beyond language. As the vibrations settle, bespoke perfumes—created through sound healing practices—help capture what rises within: safety, longing, strength, and tenderness.

The ritual is complemented by a Palestinian tatreez embroidery workshop, where silk threads become vessels of remembrance. Each stitch is slow, intentional, and deeply personal—a quiet act of continuity carried forward by women.

Under the guidance of a skilled professional, participants will learn the fundamentals of tatreez—from selecting motifs to stitching their designs onto fabric—while discovering the historical and cultural significance behind this cherished craft.

All materials will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring an additional item of their choice if they wish to personalize it with their own tatreez stitches.
