This is the way: Serverless First With Java on AWS

Details

Join us at the Riyadh Java User Group to explore Java and Serverless on the AWS.

Decades ago, J2EE separated infrastructure from business logic, allowing developers to focus on the domain instead of vendor-specific details. Serverless architectures enhance this by automating deployment and minimizing (sometimes eliminating) operational tasks.

By providing serverless offerings and managed services, cloud providers have already tackled the undifferentiated heavy lifting, such as high availability, auto-scaling, and monitoring. This enables developers to concentrate on implementing business requirements with pure Java code.

AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, CodeBuild, and EventBridge reduce operational complexity, making serverless the natural evolution of the Java enterprise stack. In this code-focused session, I will explain why you should adopt serverless architectures and why they are ideal for most enterprise applications.
