Our guest speaker and well-known instructor, Hamid Abdulsalam, would be taking us step by step through the tidymodels framework which is a collection of packages for modeling and machine learning using tidyverse principles.

Hamid is the Lead Data Scientist at Factual Analytics, Nigeria. His research interests include statistical inference, statistical computing, machine learning and deep learning.
Hamid received a master’s degree in Statistics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
