This online session will guide participants through key concepts from the Happy Git with R book, focusing on Daily Workflows, part 2 (Chapters 30-34). Participants will learn how to collaborate effectively using Git and GitHub. Key topics include forking repositories, making pull requests, managing remotes, and handling merge conflicts. By the end of the session, attendees will be able to contribute to open-source projects, sync changes across different repositories, and troubleshoot common collaboration challenges.
Whether you're new to Git or looking to refine your workflow, this session, the fifth in the R-Ladies book club series, will equip you with actionable strategies to integrate version control into your R programming routine.
