R-Ladies Baltimore (Bmore) and R-Ladies Washington DC are excited to co-host a meetup on Tuesday January 25, 2022 from 5-6:30pm (virtual meetup on Zoom). We will have an exciting presentation from Sam Tyner (@sctyner, https://sctyner.me), Data Scientist at Tritura, and a co-organizer of R-Ladies DC. She will be giving an introduction to the bookdown (https://bookdown.org) R package.

WHO is this for?

  • If you are new to R and R Markdown & want to learn a cool thing you can do in R
  • If you are a know R, but want to learn how write books and articles/reports with R Markdown

Q: Are men welcome to attend R-Ladies events?
A: Yes, men are welcome at this event. Our mission is to encourage more women and non-binary individuals to get involved in the R community. However, we ask that cis men come as guests of women and gender minorities to our events to promote a sense support and encouragement for women and gender minorities in the R community.
