Sharing and outlook workshop: My experience with R and the next step!
Details
Hello everyone,
How time flies! It is already December of 2020. It’s a perfect time to do a little bit of wrap-up and outlook for the next year.
Just imagine:
We are gathering in a (virtual!) warm and cozy room to share the R-tricks you learned in 2020, your recently-found favorite R-package, or your plan for how to explore R-world during the coming year. Wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy your favorite beverage while discussing your stories and thoughts with others and inspire one another! Afterward, Diandian Yi will share insights from an R-book to further warm up your brain and fingers!
13:00-13:10 Welcome and introduction by the co-organizers of R-Ladies Bergen.
13:10-14:00 Sharing and outlook: this is an informal panel discussion. Please feel free to contribute your questions and thoughts. You can sign up for the time slot (max. 10 minutes) through the link below: https://doodle.com/poll/nun7knz57f4kgwy8?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link
Feel free contact us if you have an interesting topic but the spots are all booked!
14:00-14:30 Book insight sharing: 10 pitfalls in the course of getting tidy data (contents extracted from Hadley Wickham's books, "R for data science" (https://r4ds.had.co.nz/) and "Advanced R" (https://adv-r.hadley.nz/)) — prepared by Diandian Yi (Data analyst)
