Git, GitHub, and RStudio

How to use Git within RStudio? We'll learn about the setup, Git vocabulary, and we'll create a short version history locally and online.

To get the most of this short workshop, come with your computer with RStudio and Git installed.

Check out the installation instructions (https://git-scm.com), then create an account at GitHub. Next you will need to create an SSH key (by following the instructions at https://happygitwithr.com/ssh-keys.html#create-an-ssh-key-pair and https://happygitwithr.com/ssh-keys.html#provide-public-key-to-github). NB: choose one of the options, not all!
