Making and publishing your first R package *** Virtual attendance***

Most of us have experience in using R to clean our data, run a few functions from another package, and produce a publishable, reproducible result. However, making the leap from running a few lines of code, to writing our own functions, to then finally bundling and publishing our own R package can be daunting. This R workshop is intended for intermediate-level R users who wish to make the leap from R user to R contributor, though all skill levels are welcome. This tutorial will focus on using the {devtools}, {usethis}, and {pkgdown} packages to help build your very own R package from scratch. Sarah Popov, MSc is a marine ecologist with a strong data management background who cares about great design.
