The [{renv} package](https://rstudio.github.io/renv/articles/renv.html) can help us keep track of all the packages we're using in a specific project and create backups or freeze package versions for later use. This makes sharing and re-running code easier. Let's dive into how we can incorporate this into our projects!

This is the first meeting in a series about {renv} - [Julia Romanowska](https://www.uib.no/en/persons/Julia.Romanowska) will give us a quick intro into the package, with some examples. Then, we can discuss, mingle, and set up dates for the next meetings.

**NOTE:** the room is booked for 2 hours, but you can come and leave whenever you want.
