This is the 10th meeting of our book club where we are working through, chapter by chapter, the wonderful book by Bruno Rodrigues, [“Building reproducible analytical pipelines with R”](https://raps-with-r.dev/).

In this meeting, our colleague at UiB, Sehee Rim, MD, PhD fellow, will guide us through [Chapter 14](https://raps-with-r.dev/repro_cont.html). We'll learn about Docker and how containers are designed to help with reproducibility.

This will be an online event where you are welcome to code along and discuss any questions or problems that might arise. We are all learning this together!

Sehee is a medical doctor with special interests in global public health, infectious diseases, and bioinformatics. She is now pursuing a PhD at the University of Bergen as a continuation of the MD-PhD program. The focus of her PhD work is to study infectious immunology following human experimental infection with enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, a major cause of children's and travelers' diarrhea in low- and middle income countries, an how this knowledge can guide vaccine development. Sehee is looking forward to learning more about bioinformatics, R, as well as making contacts with all the interesting people with shared interests!
