Hacktoberfest! and Introduction to Git

Come on over for a better-late-than-never introduction to Digital Ocean's "Hacktoberfest" event (https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/) led by Phoebe Wong, followed by a beginners primer on the version control program git, led by Abi Dawson. All levels welcome! Dinner will be provided by Vertex!!

What is Hacktoberfest?

• Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean in partnership with GitHub and Twilio.
• It is open to everyone in our global community!
• 5 quality pull requests must be submitted to public GitHub repositories.
• You can sign up anytime between October 1 and October 31.
