Details
***********
Due to the COVID-19 situation we are cancelling this event.
***********
In this session we have a special international guest!
Dr Reka Solymosi who is a Lecturer in Quantitative Methods at the University of Manchester.
Reka I will talk about how she uses R as a GIS for spatial data analysis. Her main areas of research focus on data about crime, policing, and people's perceptions of place. She will cover descriptive analysis, making thematic and point maps, and some spatial statistics.
Come with your own computer if you want to test this workflow. You will learn about packages such as sf, tmap, leaflet, spatstat and probably some more...!
For more info look at her beautiful R website rekadata.site
We look forward to seeing you there!
