speaker Ana-Maria Niculescu, Lead Data Scientist @ Numeract & co-fondator Bucharest WiMLDS
Ana-Maria is a Python and R aficionado, a data scientist with a creative twist. Ana holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at one of the prestigious "Grandes Écoles" in France, for which she was granted a full scholarship by the French Institute. In addition to that, she holds another MSc and BSc in Computer Science. Since September 2019 she lives in Bucharest and is the leader of a small Data Science team working enthusiastically on diverse projects, some of them being Open-Source.

speaker Frie Preu, Data Scientist @ CorrelAid
Frie is a data4gooder, data scientist and IT person. Right now, she is working full-time for Data4Good network CorrelAid for which she has been volunteering since its beginnings in 2015. There, she is responsible for the coordination of the skilled-volunteering data science projects which are at the core of CorrelAid’s work. In addition, she organizes educational events and workshops.
Frie has a background in social science but transitioned to data science after her Bachelor’s degree and worked in IT consulting for two years. She loves to juggle and visualize data in R and likes to automate all kinds of things using her other programming skills.

We meet on Tuesday, the 24th November at 7PM CET+1 ( Romanian time).
Registration is FREE, but mandatory via meetup so we can mail you the PIN code ~2 hours before meeting starts on zoom. Zoom url will be updated in the day of the event.
