Launching R-Ladies Chicago!

We're excited to announce the launch of R-Ladies Chicago, part of a global initiative to promote gender diversity in the R community. Our goal is to make R more popular and accessible especially among women. Anyone with an interest in R is welcome. You can be an R expert or novice. We will promote R, exchange ideas and knowledge and create a friendly network among women who use R in Chicago.

Tentative schedule:

6-6:30: Refreshments & getting to know each other

6:30-7: Lightning talks (let Angela know if you want to speak!)

7-7:30: TBD, maybe a beginners R workshop if interest
