Dr. Mahmoud Elsherif will lead this online workshop.
Currently, Mahmoud is a researcher associate in Psychology at the University of Birmingham. He received the Leverhulme early career grant and will move to the University of Leicester to investigate linguistic predictions in younger and older adults.
Mahmoud has been using R since his Ph.D. for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Frequentists dominated statistical practice for many years. However,
bayesian data analysis is increasingly becoming the tool of choice for many data-analysis problems. Mahmoud will present an introduction to Bayesian statistics in R.
