Data Analysis with R (Part 1 of 3)
Hosted by R-Ladies Dallas
Details
I'm excited about our plan to enhance our programming skills through an online learning experience. As a group, we decided that we will focus on the "Data Analysis with R" course taught by Facebook instructors on the Udacity learning platform. This will ensure that we are all on the same page when we're ready to kick off our R-Ladies Dallas group project.
The course is available for free at the following link: https://www.udacity.com/course/data-analysis-with-r--ud651
Please join the #learning channel in our R-Ladies Dallas Slack community so that we can discuss the course and ask/answer questions you may have about the material. Slack sign-up info provided below.
Agenda
Part 1: Lessons 1 - 4 < -------- this meetup event
Part 2: Lessons 5 - 8
Part 3: Lessons 9 - 10
To prepare for the event, please take time to watch the videos and work through the exercises. They estimate that it may take you up to 9 hours to complete the videos and exercises in Part 1 (Lessons 1 - 4). Actual completion time could be lower depending on how much experience you have with some of the concepts.
You are encouraged to click the link below to keep up with the webinar series and to join the Slack community. Slack is a messaging platform where we will share open job opportunities, free or low-cost online training materials, and R-Ladies group projects that will help you practice your R programming skills and develop a portfolio that could be used to showcase your skills to hiring managers.
