Session title: Using the `gt` package to create presentation-ready tables
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Abstract: Tables are sometimes treated like the step-children of the Vizworld. An after-thought or as place-holders for numbers. For me, tables are the sexiest visualizations in the Viz world; a good table conveys more to me through its simplicity than the sometimes confusing array of colors, shapes and sizes of a plot.
Bio: I am a data engineer at Converging Health who is a also a bench-trained PhD scientist. I use enterprise tools in my day job; don’t hold that against me. Open source is where my heart is at.
