We are super excited to invite you to a new workshop, "Filling your bag of workflow tricks". The amazing Maria Paula Caldas will give an overview of her favourite tricks for working with the RStudio IDE, its addins, and some noteworthy packages that bring joy to her day-to-day coding work.

WHO is this for?

• If you are new to R and want to learn how to make your life easier by working in R!
• If you want to learn new tips and improve your skills and learn new tricks for working with the RStudio IDE, its addins.

Both beginners and experienced R users are welcome to join, and of course, do their little show-and-tell!

Our speaker, María Paula Caldas is a passionate R user, programmer, and certified RStudio Instructor. She has experience using R and Shiny to analyse and communicate data, automate workflows and create reproducible and interactive documents. She currently works as a policy analyst at the OECD, an international organisation based in Paris, France, and previously worked in the private sector as an economics consultant. A social scientist by training, she particularly enjoys teaching R to audiences with diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. In her spare time, she likes to contribute to community-driven projects that increase the visibility of R in non-English speaking regions (e.g. R4DS Spanish translation, rOpenSci Spanish package review). When not in front of a screen, she's probably trying (and failing) to play beginner piano pieces
