Data Science Portfolios and Dream Jobs with Rachael Tatman (from Kaggle!)

We are thrilled to be hosting a fellow R-Ladies organizer (Seattle chapter) as part of our Fall 2018 lecture lineup!

Bio: Rachael is a data scientist at Kaggle, where she works on their free data hosting and in-browser coding environment. She has a PhD in linguistics and loves dialects, emoji and nature documentaries.

In this talk, Rachael will describe how to put together a data science portfolio that will help you stand out. We'll also discuss different kinds of data science jobs and how to tailor your application to shine as a candidate for your dream data science job.
