Using Git and Github in RStudio: A Hands-on Session
Details
Join us after Day 2 of the useR! 2022 conference!
This meetup event is meant for people new to git and GitHub but comfortable in RStudio.
- Lisa will show you how to connect git and GitHub to your projects, mostly using tools available directly within the RStudio IDE.
- You’ll be using version control by the end of the session
- You’ll never have to name something final_version_i_promise.Rmd ever again!
- It is helpful to have the following R packages installed beforehand: {usethis}, {credentials}, {gert}, and {gh}.
- If you are a Mac user, made sure to have Xcode installed.
