Communicating Data Science: Lessons Learned

Abstract: In this 40-minute talk, Dr. Sam Tyner-Monroe will present some lessons she's learned on how to communicate her work as a data scientist. As a data scientist who frequently communicates with lawyers (at work) and the general public (on Twitter), Sam has had a lot of opportunity to learn from her mistakes since she began her career as a data scientist. There will be plenty of time after the talk for discussion, questions, and so on, so please bring your own questions and lessons learned!
