Genomic data science involves analysing and interpreting the information in genome sequences by applying statistics and computer science. Genomics plays an important role in many endeavors towards personalized medicine and although consumer DNA testing is becoming a mainstream phenomenon, many questions still need to be answered before genome data can be widely applied in clinical care. Genomics produces huge volumes of data, and this meeting will dive into the different aspects and challenges of analysing it.
