Collecting Twitter data with R

In this presentation Elise will show what packages are available in R to collect data on Twitter, along with their main functions. Elise will also discuss the advantages and limits of this kind of data for social sciences.

Elise Tancoigne is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Geneva, where she studies the sociology and history of science volunteering ("citizen sciences"). She likes to experiment with, and also criticize, digital humanities methods.
