R-Ladies Manchester Fun with Functions!

R-Ladies first event of 2020

The wonderful Autotrader have agreed to have us back for our first event of 2020 and Kaylea is going to be teaching us all how to "do" functions after giving several impromptu lessons at previous meet-ups!

There will be an "intro to functions" talk to ease you in, with a short hands on session to try it out.

Then we'll kick things up a notch and do some more advanced function uses; think the apply family, pipes and map, again breaking off into groups to try it out.

Then finally we'll open the floor up to your questions and make sure everybody leaves with at least one function that works!

This slightly more intermediate level lesson is still perfect for you if you are new to coding - the sooner you start using functions the sooner you can master them - don't be intimidated - bring your laptop along and we'll help you hit the ground running!
