Would you like to become a more confident and engaging speaker?
If YES then be sure to attend July's R-Ladies Melbourne seminar! This month we are excited to welcome Jo Evans, a Public/Online Speaking and Presentation Coach and a TEDx Speaker Trainer.
To support our R-ladies community Jo will share tips on how to master the art of communicating whether it's online or face to face. In this very practical online session we'll look at:
a) How to calm those fears that may well be holding us back from speaking up
b) Explore some great techniques to help us become a more engaging speaker, especially in the online environment
c) In breakout rooms have a go at trying out some of the techniques for ourselves
BEFORE the session, please think of an area of your work or an interest or an idea that you have that you would love to present to a small audience. Think about why your audience will be interested to hear what you have to say. No need to plan a talk but please come prepared with your topic. AND be open to push through any fears, try out new ideas, support each other to become more confident and engaging speakers and have fun! Jo is looking forward to meeting all our members!
Jo's aim is to help people address their fears around speaking, develop confidence and skills in their ability to speak so they can share their message - whatever it is that matters to them.
She has a passion for helping people to become engaging and powerful speakers and to have fun along the way! She has been involved in Presenting at Conferences, Public Speaking and Coaching for over 10 years and is a Distinguished Toastmaster.
To learn more about Jo please have a look at her LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/jo-evans/.
This will be an online event, please be sure to connect a few minutes early for a prompt start at 5:30pm.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 29th!
