About the Trainer, ➡️ Christopher Maronga is a Data Manager (Clinical) at KEMRI-Wellcome Trust. He has over 6 years of experience in health research data management and analysis mostly working using R, SQL and REDCap. Leveraging R’s API capability to seamlessly extract data from data repositories such as RDBMs and web-based databases such as REDCap has made data use very easy and efficient across industries.

In this talk, Maronga will share with us practically gained experience in accessing these databases, and how you can turn your R into a powerful tool for accessing MySQL database and writing SQL code to pull and query your data from within the R environment.
We will share the zoom link and event details with the registered participants.
