[ONLINE] Meetup 4: Lightning Talks

Hello All! This is a lightning talks session with 3 speakers presenting their talks. All speakers will present their talk for 15-minutes followed by a 5-minute question-answer session with the audience.

Our Speakers:

Janani Ravi, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation, Michigan State University. She is also the founder of R-Ladies East Lansing.
In her talk, Janani will discuss "Making cool publication-quality tables" in R. She will be giving a snapshot of making elegant and interactive tables with knitr, DT, and GT!

Kewalin Samart, is an undergraduate student majoring in Computational Mathematics with a minor in Computational Math, Science, and Engineering at Michigan State University. She uses R to perform data analysis in her research project.
In her talk, Kewalin will provide "A sneak peek at Distill-flavored R Markdown for scientific manuscripts". She will be giving a quick snapshot of how to prepare scientific manuscripts using Distill-flavored R Markdown and how to publish the finished articles using GitHub.

Praveena Mathews, teaches R and Statistics. She is also the Organizer of R-Ladies Chennai.
In her talk, Praveena will discuss how to conduct "Principal Component Analysis in R". She will talk about how to do Principal Component Analysis (PCA) in R and visualize the results of the analysis.
