Mastering conditions! R Ladies NL Book Club - Advanced R Chapter 8

Hi everyone,

The R Ladies chapters of the Netherlands are partnering up and are hosting an online book club. As a first book, we chose to read and discuss Hadley Wickham's Advanced R book (https://adv-r.hadley.nz/).
Join us for our next meeting, in which Semiramis Castro will present the key points of Chapter 8: "Conditions". After that, we'll try some exercises together and help each other clear up any doubts and get over any hurdles :)

ABOUT Semiramis

Semiramis is a software developer/data scientist who codes mainly in R and Python. She's a recent PhD graduate from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with a focus on genomics of pathogenic bacteria and antibiotic resistance. Among the bacteria she studied are the emerging pathogen Acinetobacter haemolyticus and the deadly Acinetobacter baumannii.

ABOUT the chapter

“Conditions” is the umbrella term used to describe errors, warnings, and messages. You’ve certainly encountered these before, so in this chapter you learn how to signal them appropriately in your own functions, and how to handle them when signalled elsewhere.
