rstudio::conf 2020 Keynote Watch Party
Details
The RStudio conference (rstudio::conf) is in San Francisco this year but you can join R-Ladies RTP, Duke University Department of Statistics, and Duke University Libraries as we livestream the conference from Durham, NC. We'll watch the closing keynote talk presented by Roger Peng (John Hopkins University) and Hilary Parker (Stitch Fix) who host the Not So Standard Deviations podcast. This keynote will be their 100th episode! According to the rstudio::conf agenda, Hilary and Roger will discuss "...creativity, its role in data science, and how it can be fostered through conversation. Also, follow up on coffee and oat milk." You can find info about their podcast and give it a listen at: http://nssdeviations.com/ .
**RSVP is required but is not through Meetup.com.** To sign up for this event, please register via the Duke University event website here (https://duke.libcal.com/event/6321006). The event is open to the public; you do not have to be a student/faculty/staff of Duke.
