Basics of building Shiny apps in R

Come learn some basics of building a Shiny app in R with a Halloween-themed dataset for our session on Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at NCEAS!

In this session we'll introduce:

• General app structure
• Adding widgets for user selection & input
• Intro to reactive expressions

To code along, bring your computer with R, RStudio and the tidyverse package installed. Attendees will receive another message close to the meetup date with data & other materials.
