While we were very much looking forward to sharing community-curated R tips & tricks with you all tonight, we have decided to postpone this event to next Wednesday 11/13 (6:00pm PST/4:00pm HST).

We are processing and grieving the outcome of this election, and recognize that many of our fellow R-Ladies are navigating complex emotions as well. We are so grateful for this community, and the support that each of our members brings to our events. We are looking forward to connecting and learning with you all next week.

Hello, R-Ladies Santa Barbara!

Do you have a tip, trick, or shortcut that makes your R experience better? We want to hear all about it! If you've been with us for a while, you might remember our successful "R Tips and Tricks" event a few years ago. We loved it, and learned so many helpful tidbits that we want to do it again - but this time, as a collaboration with R-Ladies Honolulu! Join us for a virtual meetup on Wednesday, November 6 from 6-7:30 PT.

To make this event happen, we need your help! Please submit your tip or trick using this form, and we'll put together a slide. During the event, you have the option to take a minute or two to present your slide, OR one of the R-Ladies co-organizers can present the slide if you prefer. Check out the slide deck from our last Tips and Tricks event for inspiration - tips can range from R packages, functions, or shortcuts to handy workflow tools that may not be R-specific.

We will send out Zoom information to all registered attendees closer to the event.
We hope to see you in November to hear about all the tips and tricks used by R-Ladies in Santa Barbara and Honolulu. Who knows - you might learn something new that you won't be able to code without!
