satuRday with R-Ladies: R for beginneRs

Join us for an in-person Meetup to learn the basics of managing data with tidyverse and creating basic plots with ggplot2.

Here is the schedule:`

9am–10:30am Introduction to data management with tidyverse
10:30–10:45 BREAK
10:45–12:15 More tidyverse and ggplot2 for graphs
12:15–12:45 lunch* and networking

* We will provide a light lunch at the end of the workshop and the room will be open to network with each other and to chat with the R-Ladies team about your ideas for future Meetups. Recommend bringing a water bottle or cup to fill if needed. If you have dietary restrictions please bring your own refreshments.

DIRECTIONS:
We will meet in Goldfarb Hall Room 132 on the Washington University campus.
* Goldfarb Hall is on Forsyth about 1.5 blocks west of Skinker
* Park in free parking garage by turning from Forsyth onto Wrighton Way about a block west of Skinker and accessing the garage. It is free on the weekends but will make you take a ticket to get in; when you leave you'll need the ticket to get out but there will be no charge.
* Leave the parking garage on the southwest corner (signs near the stairs say Brown School)
* The big round glass building in front of you is Hillman Hall, Goldfarb is the brick building right next to it to the west
