Maps in R

This workshop will teach you how to create maps in R using real-world geospatial data. We'll start with the fundamentals, helping users understanding the simple features data model and the {sf} package. Next, we'll move on to practical skills like accessing geospatial data through R packages like {rnaturalearth}, {tigris}, {tidycensus}, importing raw data files, and geocoding addresses with {tidygeocoder}. Finally, we'll put those skills to use by making choropleth maps with {ggplot2}.
