Supervised classification in Machine Learning and workshop

This meetup will give a walk through of supervised classification with machine-learning classifiers applied to real data. In the second half of the meetup you will have the opportunity to try out the procedure on a simulated data set and evaluate the performance of the classifiers.

Speaker: Annika Tillander is a senior lecturer in statistics at the Department of Computer and Information Science, Linköping University. She is working on supervised classification for sparse and weak high-dimensional data.
