▶️ About Tiffany Timbers :
Tiffany Timbers is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Statistics and an Co-Director for the Master of Data Science program (Vancouver Option) at the University of British Columbia. In these roles she teaches and develops curriculum around the responsible application of Data Science to solve real-world problems. One of her favorite courses she teaches is a graduate course on collaborative software development, which focuses on teaching how to create R and Python packages using modern tools and workflows.

▶️ About the workshop:
Reticulate RStudio and your R code with Python! In this short work-shop we will show you how to configure your system so that you can use Python inside RStudio at the repl/console, in a script and inside R Markdown. As well as how to bring Python packages and functions into your R code! To do this we will be relying on the {reticulate} R package.
