▶️ About Kamil Sijko:
Experienced data analyst currently working with big-data in medical field, but having broad portfolio of experiences: social research (surveys, sampling, qualitative and quantitative approach), educational research (IRT, international surveys, complex sampling).
Working mostly with R, but proficient in multiple other technologies and stat-packages (Spark, H2O, SQL, Python, SPSS, Stata, MAXqda and many others).

R is a language created by Statisticians for Statisticians. But can it be utilized beyond academic setting? I will talk about Transition Technologies Science and my personal experiences in this field: problems with licensing, missing pieces, devops and finally superpowers of R in business.
