Intro to Bayesian Statistics with Alex Posekany

We are excited to announce the December 2021 Meetup with Alexandra Posekany, who will give us an introduction into Bayesian Statistics.

The talk will walk us through the basics of the Bayesian paradigm to statistical analysis and give us an overview on employed methods.

Alex is a part-time assistant professor of computational statistics at TU Vienna and a full time mathematics and data science high-school teacher. As a teacher she has been a pioneer in bringing data science to the skill set of her students already from the school years, while as a researcher she has developed state of the art methods which are used in the field.
