ChatGPT - A Deeper Dive

For our inaugural RMAIIG meeting, we have an awesome panel of experts
on ChatGPT, AI, and AI Ethics. ChatGPT, as you know, is an artificial
intelligence Chatbot created by OpenAI and launched in November 2022. Since then, it has taken the world by storm.

We'll hear how ChatGPT was created and trained, how it works, how to
get the most out of it and even why a prominent non-profit AI research
group thinks the government should step in to stop the release of GPT
models.

Our first speaker, Dr. Tom Yeh, is an Associate Professor in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado. He is a
leading researcher in human-computer interaction who has studied the
use of generative AI in introductory programming and K-12 settings.
He will be speaking about Large Language Models (LLMs), such as GPT-4
which drives ChatGPT as well as how these models are created and
trained.

Our next speaker, Ford Saeks is a business author, noted keynote
speaker and President/CEO of Prime Concepts Group, a creative
marketing agency. He presented recently at the "Unleash AI For
Business Summit" on Prompt Engineering and was interviewed about how ChatGPT is raising the bar in sales. He is a thought leader on
applying ChatGPT and other AI tools to accelerate business growth and
success. He will be speaking on prompt engineering and how to train
AI to craft compelling content.

Our final speaker, Marc Rotenberg, is President and Founder of the
Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) in Washington DC. He is a
leading expert in data protection, open government, and AI policy and
serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown Law School. He
will be speaking about CAIDP's March 2023 complaint to the Federal
Trade Commission. From CAIDP, "The FTC should order OpenAI to halt
the release of GPT models until necessary safeguards are established.
These safeguards should be based on the guidance for AI products the
FTC has previously established and the emerging norms for the
governance of AI."
