ONLINE: AI Startup Pitch Night “Chat-Tank” - register here for online meeting

The Rocky Mountain AI Interest Group (RMAIIG) will host a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, May 23 (6 PM MDT, 5 PM PDT, 8 PM EDT) called “Chat-Tank” where Generative AI startups will pitch a panel of experienced tech investors. A prize will be awarded to the best pitch.

Entrepreneurs who are starting AI-oriented businesses will gain practice with their pitch deck in front of experienced Angel and Venture Capital (VC) tech investors. They will get experience pitching investors, answering questions and receiving feedback in the friendly, collaborative environment of RMAIIG. They might even land a valuable contact from the “Chat-Tank” panel or audience!

We received many strong applications from startup founders, and have selected a set of seven companies to move forward and pitch their ideas at the event to our panel of experienced tech investors with a prize at the end of the night for the best pitch. Our esteemed investor panel is made up of Ann Ferracane and Matt Zwiebel, both experienced tech investors who will bring important Angel Investor and Venture Capital perspectives to the event.

Ann Ferracane is a seasoned tech executive with over 15 years of experience, holding leadership roles at renowned firms like Lyft, LinkedIn, Google, and CBRE Econometric Advisors. She founded Patch Ventures in 2019, a company dedicated to investing in and nurturing projects within the marketplace, operations, and growth tech sectors that drive economic opportunity and reduce information asymmetries. Passionate about empowering others and scaling products and companies, Ann values the significance of strong, diverse teams and company culture. She holds a Master's degree in Information Management Systems from Harvard, a Bachelor's in Economics from Wharton, and has completed a Software Engineering bootcamp at Flatiron School.

Matt Zwiebel is the General Manager for Denver at Drive Capital, where he invests in, and supports, founders at the earliest stages of their journey, currently including several AI companies. Prior to this role, Matt ran Pledge 1% Colorado, a non-profit which engages startups in giving back to their community. He started his first company in high school and has been supporting the entrepreneurial community for his entire career, from helping manage the co-working space, Galvanize, in Denver to organizing Seed Angel Forum, a quarterly dinner that connects the investment community and actively fundraising startups.
