What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

I usually take at least a few trips a year to National Park areas (I've been to a little more than half of the National Parks, think the count is up to 30) and explore them by day hiking, as well as parks in a few in other countries

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

Experienced day hiker in non-winter (no snow) conditions

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

Explore the area with occasional day hikes to experience great scenery and the outdoors, while enjoying the company of like souls.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

Hmm, I'll list a few that would fit. Inca Trail, for a multi day hike and highest altitude, Half Dome for longest distance (~17miles) and elevation gain and loss (~ 4800 feet) in one day, and Rim to Rim of Grand Canyon (it was hot).

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

Introduction

I am new to the area and looking to meet fellow hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, especially anyone who can introduce me to some great area hikes. :)
