What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

Hiking started out as just an activity with my brother in Sept 2009 on Mt. Lafayette. Since I've completed a round of the 48 (2nd round will be shortly) and Winter 48 will be soon as well. For 2012 to date 96 4,000 footers and 558 miles and the Franconia Ridge is one of my favorite places to visit

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

Day hikes are the majority of my hikes with scattered overnight camping trips. Bushwhacks and abandoned trails are always fun!

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

Hiking Goals - 48-in-1 Winter and continue to chip away at the infamous Grid

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

Most difficult hike would have to be a December jaunt down the North Slide of the Tripyramids in the dark a couple of months after a Lumbar Fusion surgery.

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

Due to the travel involved I'd prefer to be a member for now however that could change in the future.

My name is Scott and enjoy hiking throughout the White Mountains in all seasons.
