What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

Always been a fan of any adventure involving the outdoors. Grew more passionate about hiking since I joined Random in 2008 where I completed my first hike up the Osceloas. Finished my NH48, Winter 48 and NE67. Have managed to start picking off NEHH and ADK46.

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

Any hike that offers views. In particular winter hiking, as it is just breathtaking and perspective-shifting. Mostly I'm a day hiker (catchy rhythm!), yet am open to learning more about multi-day hiking.

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

Full day Prezzie traverse, in winter. Looking to get out west and hike a bit in the Rockies and the Canyon. Really anything that can give me a good physical and mental challenge.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

A few come to mind...the Moriah-Carters-Wildcats Traverse would be one (done with a few Randomites); a full-day Prezzie Traverse would be the other (July 2011). I will also say Owlshead in Jan'11, as the trail-breaking bushwack was just intense, even with 9 hikers! Haute Route in Switzlerland with a monster pack!

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??
