Historic Ellicott E-Bike Tour

We’ll meet at the Avalon/Glen Artney/Orange Grove Areas (Main Access of Patapsco State Park): 5120 South St, Halethorpe, MD 21227; and head out together to bike the beautiful Grist Mill Trail. This scenic ride includes a stop at the famous swinging bridge — perfect for photos, a quick breather, and soaking in the views.
After enjoying the trail, we’ll turn around and head back before making our way to Judges Bench for a relaxed group lunch.

### Plan for the Day:

• Meet at Avalon/Glen Artney/Orange Grove Areas (Main Access of Patapsco State Park): 5120 South St, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
• park at Lost Lake (main entrance parking after you pass the $2 honor box)
• Bike the Grist Mill Trail (we embark on e-bikes here to start ride).
• Stop at the swinging bridge
• Return ride
• Lunch at Judges Bench (If you’re planning on staying for lunch, please make sure to RSVP on the separate lunch Meetup event so we can get an accurate headcount.

This is meant to be a fun, active morning followed by good food and great company.

Bring water, wear comfortable clothing, and come ready for fresh air and fun 🌿

Directions to Parking and Embark spot:

Follow GPS to Patapsco State Park main entrance. We will be e-biking on the Grist Mill Trail. When you enter main park entrance you will come upon an honor box to pay $2 park fee.
After honor box, go 1/2 mile then turn right at first park STOP sign, (its a fork, can only go L or R).
After that, make a quick left past Williams Offutt Johnson parking lot. This left will be Glen Artney Rd (not labeled).
Go 0.3 miles. Park at lot that says Lost Lake on map bulletin board. You’ll be next to a small pond/lake. We embark on our e-bikes from this lot to start e-biking on Grist Mill trail. The Grist Mill Trail follows along the waterway of the Patapsco River.
