Camp and Paddle- Iron Gate to Gala- Rain Date July 12

This will be a great day paddling from Iron Gate to Gala. This is a class I and Class II area and with higher water levels expected it should have a nice adventurous feel to it. We have a rain date scheduled currently for July 12, 2025. We will make a decision ahead of time by 6/20/25 so that people can get their campsite money back and we all stay safe due to bad weather conditions.

We will be camping at Gala campsite # 5. Please, let us know if you plan to camp.

Meet at 9, shuttle, be on the river at 10. Float to Gala with an optional take out at Gala for those who don't want to camp. If enough interest in camping, we can coordinate food and shuttle etc.

Check-in and arrangements for shuttling will be made at this time. Look for a White Grand Jeep Cherokee SUV.

Start Paddling: 9:45-10am

Distance: Approximately 7 miles

Duration: Approximately 4-5 hours, depending on water conditions and paddling speed
