In Person-Salem: Getting started with building GenAI-supported apps

GenAI is what everyone is talking about these days. But, what actually is a GenAI application? How does the stack differ from what traditional developers may be working with?

In this talk, we'll focus on de-mystifying the stack and help you realize it's not that different than what you think. We'll explore the APIs that wrap the LLMs, tool/function calling, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and more. We'll then dive into the various tools available for developers to use. Come with questions and (hopefully) leave with answers!
