Join Morgan as he discusses getting started with Fusion 360!
### In this workshop he will discuss:
- The Fusion 360 work environment
- Folders and backups
- Views and manipulation
- Setup of units, grid vs no grid, preferences
- Test part created 1st of 4 ways
- Extrude
- Dimensions using drag
- Dimensions using numeric entry
- Cut
- Cut one side, symmetric, two sides
- Saving part – Version #
- History bar
- Naming features
- Moving back and forth in time
- Test part created 2nd of 4 ways
- Two circles extrude (all in one)
- Advantages and disadvantages of this method.
- Test part created 3rd of 4 ways
- Introduction to reference geometry – Center line
- Revolve feature
- Test part created 4th of 4 ways
- Square block to part.
- 15 minutes of Q+A
### If Time allows, depending on pace of workshop
- Radius and chamfer
- Simple Drawing from part
- Created mesh for 3d printing
- Show part in Cura
### Recommendations for workshop attendance:
- This workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to get a quick start with Fusion 360 and maybe pick up some things you didn’t know.
- It is recommended that you bring a laptop with fusion 360 installed, and verified that the program will load and open. This is not required.
- We start on time.
