Industrial Robotic Automation

Details

Focus on Industrial Robotic Automation.

Speaker: Pedro Noronha, IIOT Product Manager, Connecting Software

Topic: Blockchain sealing for industrial robotic automation.

Industrial robotic automation involves the realization of industrial work using automatic systems, robots, and an automation system that replaces the man in the assembly line, always carrying out the same work, in a constant and frenetic pace.

Robots are highly valued in the manufacturing industry for many attributes: reliability, predictability, precision, repeatability, and imperviousness to hazardous environments. Robots come with certain limitations when we compare them with humans. Unlike humans, robots lack the ability to respond to unexpected circumstances and improve performance based on previous experience.

It is important to imbue sensor technology in robots. It enables robots to hear, see, and feel the environment. And more important than that, be able to send that information upstream, both to prove report authenticity (in case of machine failure disputes) and improve processes.
