Getting Started in Robotics

Robotics@Ireland is delighted to present our first event!

If you have an interest in robotics and have wondered how to get started, join us on Wednesday Feb 2 as we explore ways to transition into the field as well as to officially introduce our community to the world.

We'll be joined by three amazing speakers to hear their first-hand experience of what it's like to get started in robotics, the amazing projects they have worked on, and about the organisations that helped them on their journeys.

This will be an online event, a Zoom link will be shared when you register.

19:10 - 19:25 || Talk 1 by David Nugent, CTO of Formula Trinity Autonomous.
19:25 - 19:40 || Talk 2 by Michael Colwell, Head of Ergonomics and Braking at Formula Trinity.
19:40 - 19:55 || Talk 3 by Cian Donovan, Co-founder of Akara Robotics.
19:55 - 20:15 || Panel discussion.

Panel discussion:
Following the talks we’ll have the opportunity to ask our three speakers about how they got started in robotics, what advice they have for any interested in doing the same, how they found challenging, and where people can find help on their journey. The audience will also be invited to ask questions.
