What we’re about
Ireland has some of the best tech talent in Europe and the potential to be a hub of robotics development - we believe having a strong robotics community here can help get us closer to that vision.
Robotics@Ireland is a group for anyone in Ireland interested in robotics - from legged mobile robots to aerial drones, from self-driving to social interaction, from manipulators and grippers to surgical robots, and everything in between. We meet once per month to discuss the latest and greatest developments, hot topics, show off our projects, learn from and help each other, and network. The group is open to all interested in working in robotics.
We alternate between online events and in person events (usually based in Dublin). We typically invite speakers to present their work, with time to network before and after. We also have ideas to organise weekend hackathons, workshops, show-and-tells, social mixers, and book clubs - so stay tuned.
